What is a Clothier?
A clothier used to be defined as someone who sold cloth. The best modern definition we’ve seen is in an article by William Kissel entitled “Clothiers Make the Man” from the September ‘07 edition of “The Robb Report”. That article can be read here.

What is the value of Harrison MacKay shirts?
Most people ask the price, when the more important question is the value of the shirt.  Because of the high quality of the fabrics used, our shirts will last longer than most off the rack versions. The fit will be more accurate and the style will be uniquely yours. You will wear them more often, be more comfortable and look your best. That’s value!

fq6
How do I take care of my new shirts?
There are three options:
  1. Commercial laundering - specify no starch and ask to have them pressed by hand and not by automated machines.
  2. Dry Cleaning - acceptable but not the best.
  3. Home laundry - hand or machine wash in warm water, no bleach or starch, no tumble dry, hang on a plastic hanger to dry. Moderate iron.
fq7
Will my shirts shrink?
There is allowance for some shrinkage in the tailoring of your shirts, so they may feel slightly larger than you would expect when you first try them on. After the first two or three washings, the fit should be perfect.

fq8
Will my measurement be kept on file?
Absolutely! On your next orders, only the fabric and style details will need to be selected.
